Watch the Factory Walkthrough
The video takes viewers through each stage of production, from bare-board fabrication to finished, tested assemblies, and is intended to give engineers and procurement teams a clearer picture of the scale and equipment available before they place an order.
Multi-Facility PCB Manufacturing
NextPCB operates two dedicated PCB manufacturing facilities with a combined monthly production capacity exceeding 120,000 square meters. Supported by a team of more than 100 engineers, the facilities cover fabrication needs ranging from simple single- and double-layer boards to complex HDI and rigid-flex designs up to 32 layers.
Full Turnkey PCB Assembly
Assembly is handled across two PCB assembly plants covering more than 20,000 square meters, with a combined daily capacity of over 95 million solder joints. The lines feature 36 automated Siemens SMT machines, paired with SPI, AOI, and X-ray inspection to catch defects before boards leave the factory. Full Turnkey PCB assembly covers component sourcing, SMT and through-hole placement, and functional testing under one roof.
Quality Workflows & Certifications
Production across all four facilities follows IPC-A-610 Class 2 workmanship standards as a baseline, with Class 3 available for high-reliability applications on request. Manufacturing processes are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949, and comply with RoHS and UL requirements.
| Certification | Scope |
|---|---|
| ISO 9001 | General quality management system |
| ISO 14001 | Environmental management system |
| ISO 13485 | Medical device manufacturing quality |
| IATF 16949 | Automotive quality management system |
| UL | Product safety compliance |
| RoHS | Restriction of hazardous substances |
FAQ
How many factories does NextPCB operate?
NextPCB operates four factories: two dedicated to PCB fabrication and two dedicated to PCB assembly (PCBA).
Does NextPCB handle both prototyping and mass production?
Yes. The same certified facilities support both low-volume prototype runs and scale production, so a design doesn't need to move to a different vendor as order volume grows.
What quality standard does NextPCB build to?
Boards and assemblies are built to IPC-A-610 Class 2 as standard, with Class 3 workmanship available for high-reliability applications. Facilities are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949, and meet RoHS and UL requirements.
Can I get a quote based on what I see in the video?
Yes. Gerber files and assembly requirements can be submitted directly through the NextPCB quote tool for an instant price and lead time.
