Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. At NextPCB, we perform 100% electrical testing on all manufactured boards before shipment. For prototypes and small-batch orders, we typically utilize Flying Probe testing for high precision. For mass production, we use custom Test Fixtures to efficiently ensure all boards are free of open or short circuits.

To ensure your PCBs arrive in perfect condition, NextPCB strictly uses vacuum sealing enclosed with desiccants to prevent moisture and oxidation (which is crucial for finishes like ENIG or OSP). The vacuum-sealed packs are then securely wrapped in bubble film or pearl cotton and placed in sturdy export cartons to protect them from physical shock during transit.

All NextPCB boards undergo rigorous Quality Control, including Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and final visual checks. A standard factory outgoing inspection report can be provided. If your project requires advanced documentation—such as impedance test reports, microsection analysis, or specific reliability tests—please select these options during quoting or contact your account manager.

NextPCB complies strictly with IPC-A-600 standards. For boards utilizing Surface Mount Technology (SMT), we control the bow and twist to ≤0.75% to ensure smooth assembly. For non-SMT boards, the tolerance is controlled within ≤1.5%. We maintain these standards through optimized pressing processes and balanced copper distribution checks during DFM.

Our standard production fully complies with IPC-A-600 Class 2, which meets the rigorous requirements for most consumer, industrial, and commercial electronics. We also have the advanced manufacturing capabilities required to produce IPC Class 3 boards for high-reliability sectors like aerospace, automotive, and medical devices upon custom request.
